33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree

Pack 75 is lucky and honored to have had Kieran, one of our Webelos Scouts, and his mother Ciara representing our Pack in the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree in the Philippines.

Kieran was the youngest one in all of 23,000. He got to bond with Charlotte “Charley” Baden-Powell, the great-great-granddaughter of Scouting Founders Robert and Olave Baden-Powell. So many adventures, timeless lessons, Scout memorabilia trading opportunities, and many new friends.

The Rovers of Rover Circle XXIII took care of him during the 4 days of his mother, Barako Publishing’s Ciara (also a huge part of our Pack!) teaching the Barako 77 educational module. Running each base 16 times a day in smaller groups was intense.

Without the steadfast support of Boy Scouts of the Philippines Secretary General Atty. Cedrick G. Train, and the help of partners like Rover Circle XXIII, WWF-PH and multilingual Woodbadgers, this would have been impossible.

It took a lot of courage and determination to pull this off, and they did it!

Kieran was happy to represent Pack 75 in this event. The Serumgards are also registered with the Batangas Council of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
