DESCRIPTION:We’re kicking off the new Scouting year with a special Saturday event — and we’re doing things a bit differently this time! \n\n\n\nInstead of squeezing the Raingutter Regatta and summer award ceremony into a short evening meeting\, we’ll take our time to enjoy everything together.The day will begin with a celebration of all the achievements our Scouts earned over the summer. After the awards ceremony\, we’ll dive into the Raingutter Regatta\, where each Scout will receive an official Scouting America Raingutter Regatta boat kit to build and race on the spot.  \n\n\n\nOnce we’ve crowned this year’s Regatta Champion\, we’ll fire up the BBQ.We’re excited to see all of you there — it’s going to be a great way to reconnect\, celebrate\, and race into a new year of Scouting!

It’s the perfect way to close out summer with one last outdoor adventure before school starts. \n\n\n\nEnjoy the cool mountain air\, lakeside fun\, and a full schedule of outdoor activities—plus\, all meals are provided so you can focus on making memories together! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgram Highlights \n\n\n\n\nArchery & BB Guns (and hopefully Climbing Wall!)\n\n\n\nHandicraft Creations\n\n\n\nSwimming in Shaver Lake\n\n\n\nCampfires\, nature hikes\, and more!\n\n\n\nCanvas tents and cots are provided (on the point!)—just bring your personal gear\n\n\n\n\nAll major program areas will be open\, and activities are suitable for all ages.  \n\n\n\nRegistration closes on August 29 at 6:00pm.
