Pack 75’s annual Spring Campout took place at Millerton Lake this year, and the Scouts were treated to great weather and beautiful scenery as the backdrop for a fun-filled weekend.
The campout included all of the traditional Scout camping staples: pitching tents, outdoor cooking, campfires, hikes, crafting, games, songs, skits, and lots of nature.
One big highlight was the hike to Buzzard’s Roost, where many of the Scouts were pushed physically and mentally to new heights, and were rewarded with beautiful views of the lake and a sense of pride and accomplishment when they made it back to camp.
A great trip, all around!
